God gave us many things on enjoy on this earth to enjoy.
The beauty of His creation.
A sense of humor.
Dr. Arthur George Scott
Be willing to laugh at yourself. We all do funny, hilariously things. Having played the piano and organ for hundreds of weddings and funerals over the past 50+ years, I decided to write my own eulogy, containing over 30 of the funniest things I have done and said.
I remember with fondness hearing Chuck Swindoll speak back in the 19080's...he had such great laugh. AGS

Oh, what needless pain we bear, all because we do not carry EVERYTHING TO GOD IN PRAYER...
I love it when churches have a blended music program encouraging the congregation to sing. Music is very much like food. Everyone likes different things.

People often look for great music, meaningful sermons and acceptance.. Friendliness and seeing how many people reach out to you, ask your name and are willing to start a relationship with you.
Children need to feel like they belong and Sunday School and other ministries make a huge difference in the lives of children and teenagers.
I am amazed at how many churches fail to mention that they have a music program. Do they offer organized sports and activities that your your kids will resonate with?
Artist series, music, art, and dance should be a part of every church.
Trust and rapport are extremely important. Do you sense love, acceptance and sincerity with ministers and support staff?
Many organizations must evaluate how they embrace children and teens diagnosed with Autism and others. Very few churches, synagogues, mosques, and other religious organizations have a space for these precious young people. Arthur George Scott, PsyD, has a passion for all children. Every child should be able to express their feelings, thoughts, and emotions through Fine Arts, including Music, Art, and Dance. The curriculum is available for all organizations interested in developing an ongoing program for Special Needs / Autistic children whose diagnosis limits their life experience. We can all help these children reach higher and unexplored creative goals. www.pianobyartscott.com 949.454.1221 Mr. Art Scott has resided in Southern California since 1981.
